The Project

Mobile Learning project has been conducted by Nokia Technology Institute – INdT, based in Manaus, Amazonas – Brazil, also knowledge from many researchers around the world, some from Nokia. They already understood the importance of the issue, not only from technology perspective, but mainly to the sustainable development of countries and their citizens.

The Mobile Learning Project’s initial objectives were:

• 1. to research mobile learning initiatives and their current status;
• 2. the existing and up to exist structuring platforms;
• 3. to scope possible projects to leverage people’s capacity to learn.

But we’ve found much more, for example how Nokia might apply to a global market ideas about the behavior of learners in groups.
